Madrid, Spain's mighty capital, home of the Prado Museum, Picasso's Guernica, the Royal Palace, the Bernabeu Stadium and countless tapas bars. Our centrally situated hotel allows you to take in all of these. We will also show you some of the less well-known gems of Castille, with an included full day trip into the Sierra Norte. Just outside Madrid, the Sierra is home to spectacular vistas, abundant wildlife, and interesting villages and towns like Buitrago de Lozoya, a walled village of strategic importance during the Reconquista, with a castle and fine mudejar church.
