As the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague is a city of a thousand spires on the banks of the River Vltava. The city has many wonderfully preserved buildings created through the centuries. There are many sights to admire from the baroque domes and gothic turrets, to the striking art nouveau buildings lining Wenceslas Square.
